Have you ever wanted a bonsai tree but without all the effort? This piece was inspired by my many failed attempts to grow a tree of my own, and the desire to give others a bit of the tranquilty having one around might bring. The tree itself it carved from oak and padauk, the trunk and branches are treated with tung oil, and the treetops are textured with padauk shavings. The planter is made of lasercut birchwood, hand-painted with acrylic and has four rubber feet underneath. Rocks included, but note that only a small layer is fixed to the piece, and the remainder will be included in a separate bag, in order to be rearranged/sifted through. Dimensions 7in. L x 5in.
